Tanzania Universities: thousands of students' degrees threatened
The universities watchdog in Tanzania has had to call for calm, after it told more than 8000 students they may not be allowed to finish their degrees, unless they could prove their previous qualifications. Tanzania Commission for Universities caused panic when they published the names, saying the students may not have met the admissions criteria for their courses. Lucy Taylor reports.
