La Ruta de las Golondrinas. Ref Lauberaut - Pico Annie - Ref de Belagua

Second Stage (for us), which coincides with stage 3 of the official route. We left the French refuge of Laberouat at 6:30 a.m., equipped with headlamps to position ourselves at dawn at the fork in the path that marks the alpine route via Pic Annie or the hiking trail. Given the good weather, we decided to ascend Pic Annie, a considerable effort to climb one of the most well-known peaks in the French Pyrenees. We descended directly to Belagua without stopping at the Jaendel refuge, completing two stages in one. 22 km route and 1300 m elevation gain.
