How To Color Metallic Gold With Prismacolor Pencils / with Numbers

Creating the shine and reflections in a metallic object takes a lot of practice. I recommend practicing first on a page you don't care about. Creating metal is worth the time you put into learning it. I have produced this video to show you my process. It's a two part video so the next video will also help. Once you get the process you can apply a metal look to any object. Changing from gold to silver or brass is just a matter of changing your pencil color. Gold is highly reflective while gun metal is dull yet they still have the same reflective surface. Once you master the reflective shine it will be easy to distort object into it for a more realistic look. I used prismacolor pencils and gel pen in this tutorial.
