NOCO Genius 5 Not Charging: Common Reasons

These are the most common reason for NOCO genius 5 charger not charging or not working. 1) Forget to plug in the power cord 2) The battery cable connector is loosen 3) Did not connect the battery to the charger before choosing mode, must clamp the battery terminal first before choosing mode 4) Choose the wrong mode, use 12V for normal car battery. use AGM, Lithium and 6V mode only when depend on the battery type. 5) The battery is too dead to charge. You can use the 12V repair mode to charge the bad battery. If it is deeply discharged, below 1V, you can use Force mode instead, Long press the mode button for 5 seconds, then it would enter force mode to pump the battery voltage up so that the charger can detect it.
