Villagers Stranded in Keonjhar Due to Heavy Low-Pressure Rains Due to continuous heavy rainfall triggered by a low-pressure system, a critical waterlogging situation has emerged in Sadanga Nuasahi under Hatadihi block of Keonjhar district. Around 10 families in the village have been completely marooned for the last 3 to 4 days, with floodwaters surrounding their houses. The only tubewell in the village is completely submerged under water, triggering a severe drinking water crisis. Villagers are facing extreme hardships as they are unable to step out of their homes. According to the locals, the situation turned severe due to poor drainage management and blocked main drains.
