New messages released by The Intercept Brazil reveal that former banker Daniel Vorcaro gave absolute priority to payments for the film "Dark Horse," a biopic of former president Jair Bolsonaro, immediately after receiving a direct demand from Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. In conversations from January 2025 with his brother-in-law, Fabiano Zettel (identified as the group's financial operator), Vorcaro was categorical in ordering the release of funds: "This is by far the most important. It can't fail again." The urgency occurred days after businessman Thiago Miranda relayed the senator's message to the former banker. The Federal Police are investigating the transfer of R$ 61 million to the film project. In previous audio recordings, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro had already expressed strong concern about delays in the payment schedule. After the messages were leaked, Flávio Bolsonaro admitted to contacting the banker, but claimed that the contacts were only aimed at securing private sponsorship. The senator also confirmed an in-person meeting at Vorcaro's house in São Paulo, when the executive was under precautionary measures and wearing an electronic ankle monitor, one day before his arrest.
