Milano, la foto del Rolex lo incastra: blitz in gioielleria

Lorenzo Ruzza, a Milanese jeweler known for his social media activity, found himself at the center of a movie-worthy story. A man showed up at his shop in the heart of Milan with a Rolex from the 1980s, offering it for €2,000. Ruzza bought it and, as he usually does, posted a photo on his popular social media channels, where he is followed by thousands. Everything seemed to be back to normal... but that wasn't the case. Shortly afterward, the watch's real owner, who had been robbed some time earlier, recognized his Rolex in the photo and immediately contacted the police. The authorities invited him to come to the shop for checks. But the story took an even more unexpected turn when, the next day, the man who had sold the watch returned to the jewelry store. Without further ado, he demanded the Rolex back and even went so far as to threaten Ruzza. At that point, the jeweler realized something wasn't right and immediately called 911. Within minutes, patrol cars arrived on the scene and found the man still in the shop. The 59-year-old told officers that he had bought the Rolex in a bar and that he was an avid collector. The man— already known for crimes against property and personal injury—was investigated for receiving stolen goods. Meanwhile, Ruzza shared the entire story with his followers. "Doing this job isn't easy, you can't get distracted," he commented, recounting the entire story and praising the prompt efficiency of the police.
