Paying $3000 to be a beta tester for Roland | The synth world is mad
One of the most used arguments against my claim that the Roland TR-1000 is overpriced, is that it's a stand alone box that can do everything and that you don't have to use a computer. Well, so far it can't be synced and for a box that "can do everything", why does it need to have a computer editor? That everyone seems to be waiting for. Wasn't the whole point that you could do everything in the TR-1000 itself? The OLED display is too small you say? And how does it feel to pay close to 3000 bucks to be Roland's beta tester?
