Our FIRST EVER Disneyland California trip | Outlets, Huntington & Airport Delays | January 2026

Join us for the final vlog from our Disneyland California trip as we travel home after the most magical few days 🏰✨ In this vlog we check out of the Alamo Inn & Suites, which was honestly such an amazing base for our trip. For a budget Disneyland hotel, it was brilliant — plenty of space for us and only around a 20-minute walk to Disneyland via Downtown Disney / Disney Village. 🛏️ Hotel stay: Alamo Inn & Suites review 🛍️ Shopping stop: The Outlets at Orange + BoxLunch Disney finds 🌴 Last stop: Huntington Beach ✈️ Travel home: airport delays and the long journey back to England Before heading to the airport, we stop at The Outlets at Orange to browse all the Disney goodies in BoxLunch. There were so many amazing things, but somehow we managed to leave empty-handed 😅 We also made a stop at Huntington Beach, where we were hoping for some sunshine, but unfortunately the weather had other plans with rain, overcast skies, and air quality warnings. Still, it was really cool to see some surfers out catching the waves 🌊🏄 At the airport, things took a turn when our flight was delayed by several hours, making for a very long evening sitting at the gate 😩 Thankfully, once our plane arrived, boarding was quick and easy and the flight was pretty empty, which made the journey much more comfortable. Because of the delays, we arrived back in England much later than planned and then had to deal with our broken-down van once we landed 🚐💨 Thankfully, after a stressful moment, we managed to get it started and got home safely — and Scott was able to sort a quick and inexpensive fix the next day. ✨ Thank you so much for watching our California travel vlogs and Disneyland series.
