CARE YOGA NATUROPATHY MEDICAL COLLEGE Naturopathy and Yoga are the traditional Indigenous health system that where in practice in India since ancient times. Over the last few hundred years these traditional systems of medicines were sidelined with the emergence of newer systems of medicines that were thought to be more advanced and effective . But contrary to the belief the newer system of medicine proved to do more harm than good. The immense health benefits ,cost effectiveness and safety profile of traditional indigenes systems proved by in depth research has prompted the health authorities to revive this age old system with plans to introduce it into the health policies of the country . The R.K. Education Society, under the dynamic leadership of Sri V. Radha Krishna garu as President, (Present Director Projects, NCC Ltd., Hyderabad), is an ardent enthusiast of traditional science . He established Care Yoga Naturopathy Medical College at Pittalavanipalem, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh with the purpose of popularizing the traditional system of healing and also create professional education opportunity in the rural areas. In this endeavor he is assisted by his wife Smt. Vasantha Radha Krishna, Vice President and his brother Sri V. Kishore Kumar as Secretary and Correspondent. Care Yoga Naturopathy Medical College is headed Dr. Mahesh Pandit who has rich Academic and Clinical experience of over 21 years and has served in various capacities at different pioneer Naturopathy Institutions of the country .The college 25,000 sq.ft. of built up area besides adequate hostels for ladies and Gents. This college will meet the requirements of health professionals of Naturopathy and Yoga in Andhra Pradesh in particular and India in general. The present campus is located in 25 acres of land, in lush green and serene rural settings. There is an immediate plan to extend the campus to accommodate Ayurvedic, Siddha and Homeopathy Medical Colleges and create a hub for education in Indian System of Medicine. There are plans to grow organic foods to meet the demands of patients and students of this campus and make the campus healthy and natural. The management has the vision to develop this campus into a world class facility for learning & treatment in alternative system of medicine.
