It's Uga-chan! 🎵 This time, we're talking about the Ryuteki flute, a familiar instrument in gagaku music. This is an introductory video for people who don't know it...💦 Actually, I can't play it very well myself...💦 lol I thought I could play it because I can play the Shinobue, but... it's a completely different experience. The mouthpiece is larger than the Shinobue, which makes the amount of breath and mouth control more difficult... I think it'll take more time to get used to it than the Shinobue. The fingering for the notes Do-Re-Mi is different from the Shinobue, but the technique is not much different. I learned about the Ryuteki flute through a viewer's comment. It's a pretty interesting instrument. I also learned about the Hichiriki flute... P.S.
