How ‘Deadly Class’ Examines Revenge

In this installment, we discuss the hit Image series: Deadly Class by Rick Remender & Wes Craig. A story about love, revenge, and morality. (Also it’s about assassins, so that’s neat if you’re into that sort of thing) Deadly Class explores how the American culture of the 1980's spawned the counter-culture movement within the US. It highlights the roles played by the Reagan Administration, the Iran-Conta Scandal, and "Trickle-down" Economics. Rick Remender and Wes Craig's handling of the series created my inspiration to look into the morality of revenge, and what our response to harm can affect our future. The essay cites Friedrich Nietzsche and Francis Bacon.
