Optimizing Optometric Refraction
Dr. Harris shot this video with a group of interested third year students from SCO to discuss considerations in performing refraction and how to be efficient in doing so. Our patients all have a limited amount of attention they can give to working with us to derive the ranges of possible lenses they can accept. By using that limited resource effectively and efficiently it raises the probability of having more confidence in our findings. Many of the tips in this video have been published in the series Focus on Refraction by Drs. Harris and Taub in the Review of Optometry.
