Moody Canyon: 4N32 to 4N33, Angeles National Forest

Here's a fun trail on the north side of the Angeles National Forest if you have some solid A/T tires. Don't need 4x4, but the extra confidence from extra height and some good tires will let you tackle this trail on a lazy afternoon and be back in town for margaritas by sundown. Trail ends at locked gate, no thruway to 3N17 as of 7/2020 due to recent fires...but I look forward to when it reopens--what a great loop that would be. 11:07 is where it goes from hard-pack to "off road" conditions. Waypoint to Trailhead from Aliso Canyon Road: https://goo.gl/maps/PJdF2XsCXHXTJxvK7 Distance of Trailhead from Los Angeles: 1 hour. Trail Distance: 5.5 miles. Road Type: Graded dirt road giving way to rutted, stony trail. Passenger Car OK? Eh...maybe in the beginning, but not the whole way. Can my Civic make it? You'd have to really want to get there...Outback or similar with A/T tires is your entry ticket to this one.
