In this episode, I would have liked to have just derusted the rust from the tank with citric acid, but it turned out differently. The old gasoline in the tank and carburetor now presented me with an extremely smelly and disgusting challenge. We are also approaching the question of which style direction the bike will go in. Citric acid and baking soda are available from Amazon: I used about 750g citric acid for one pass and got a PH value of 3 with a 16 liter tank volume. Between 3 and 4 the acid solution should come according to Simson Bastler. So I overdosed it easily.
