This time, we took a 1-night, 2-day reward trip to the very popular hot spring resort "Tateyama Onsen Senri no Kaze" in Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture. It had been a while since we'd been to Tateyama, but our main purpose this time was to stay at the newly renovated "Senri no Kaze" hotel! From spring 2026, the services have been further enhanced, with extended alcohol service hours in the lounge until 9 PM (from April), and the addition of all-you-can-drink sake to the dinner buffet (from March), making it a blissful space that is irresistible for sake and gourmet lovers. From the famous boat-shaped platter of local fish delivered directly from the fishermen, to the crab packed with meat, the sushi made right in front of you, and even the crispy tempura...! We completely lost track of time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as a couple. The free ramen for a late-night snack, and the seafood rice bowl and freshly baked croffles for breakfast were also exquisite. The sunset viewed from the open-air bath with its spectacular view was also wonderful, making it a perfect weekend that soothed both mind and body.
