I found FIRE, not "Sea of Mist" | Thailand Moto Camping (Khao Krachom)

Riding my CRF 300 Rally through the burning season in Thailand was not the solo moto camping trip I expected. Everyone comes to Khao Krachom for the "Sea of Mist," but this time the mountains were on fire. The further I climbed, the more the air changed. Instead of the cool morning breeze, I was met with thick smoke and forest fires encroaching right onto the edge of the trail. There were moments when I had to ride directly through the heat of the flames just to keep moving forward. This trip was a harsh reminder that nature isn't always "Instagrammable." Sometimes it’s dusty, hot, and dangerous. But popping out at the summit felt like a different kind of victory—not for the view, but for the journey itself. 📍 Location Spotlight: Khao Krachom (Ratchaburi) At 1,000 meters up, the heat remains intense during the dry season. The trail is bone-dry, making the steep climbs through loose silt and the "1,000 Show" hill even more technical for heavy gear.
