My Blue Mountains Day Trip from Sydney Went Horribly Wrong | Australia Travel Vlog

After leaving my hotel at 4:45am for a full day trip to Australia’s famous Blue Mountains…this happened. Relentless rain. Fog everywhere. Over 2 hours stuck in traffic. And by the time I finally got back to my hotel at 7pm, I was completely soaked and exhausted. Safe to say this wasn’t quite the Blue Mountains experience I imagined 😂 But despite not seeing the incredible views I’d travelled for, it still turned into a very eventful day exploring Leura, known as “The Garden Village” and the jewel of the Blue Mountains. Oh well, sometimes travel days don’t go to plan, and those are the ones you remember most. At least it gives me the perfect excuse to come back one day and hopefully see the Blue Mountains properly next time.
