Beyond Time: Rhythm, Improvisation, and Unity presented by Danilo Pérez and Terri Lyne Carrington

Danilo Pérez and Terri Lyne Carrington present a workshop and discussion in collaboration with Berklee Abu Dhabi that highlights rhythm and comprovisation as tools for creating connection and unity. They will explore how jazz, as a timeless and universal art form, serves as a powerful instrument for positive social change. Danilo Pérez is a multi-Grammy award-winning pianist, composer, and educator, and the Founder & Artistic Director of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Terri Lyne Carrington is a four-time Grammy Award-winning drummer, producer, and educator, and the Founder & Artistic Director of the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice.
