Hi there! I'm Shutaro Kawada. By day, I work a regular office job, and in my free time, I enjoy going to R&B, Soul, and Funk jam sessions around Tokyo. This channel is where I share some of the things I’ve learned while practicing guitar myself, in a way that’s hopefully easy to follow. Let me share a bit of what inspired me to start this. I first picked up the guitar back in middle school. I was into it, but I didn’t get really serious until I started working full-time. Since then, I’ve been practicing a lot and learning along the way. One thing I’ve come to realize is this: Sometimes there can be a bit of a gap between how things are explained and how beginners actually experience them. These days, there’s a ton of guitar content out there, especially on social media. A lot of it is made by amazing players—pros, people who’ve been studying music for years, or those who’ve been in the scene forever. And honestly, their content is fantastic. I learn from them all the time. At the same time, I’ve felt that some of the material can be a little tough for beginners to digest. What seems simple to experienced players can actually feel pretty tricky when you’re just starting out. I’m still learning too, but I thought that if I could share what I’ve picked up in a simple, friendly way, maybe it could help others who are practicing guitar like me. That’s why I started this channel.
