लग्न हे पवित्र बंधन आहे. विवाहामुळे दोन व्यक्तींचे नव्हे तर दोन कुटुंबे आणि त्यांचे नातेवाईक नात्याने जोडले जातात. या नात्यास लग्नगाठ म्हणतात. तर लग्न सोहळ्या अगोदर वधू किंवा वराची आई हिला आपला भाऊ वरमाय म्हणून बोलवून घेतो आणि वरमाय बनलेली वधूवराची आई आपल्या भावाला पहिलं आमंत्रण देते आणि त्यानंतर इतर नातेवाईकांना आमंत्रण देते. तर आजच्या व्हिडिओत मी तुम्हाला आमच्या वसईतील कुपारी समाजातील लग्न सोहळ्यातील रीतिरिवाज दाखवणार आहे. There are different customs and traditions in Indian marriages. Before the marriage, the mother of the bride or bridegroom is called by her brother as "Varmai" at his house. And after that Varamai gives the first invitation to her brother and later goes to invite other people.
