Amidst the hypocritical condemnation of people and the cold noise, have you lost the veil of your mission and are feeling intimidated because of the stained flaws of your past? Do not lose heart. The One who has completely shattered the schema of despair in which the world ceaselessly shouted "No" to you, declaring you unqualified, and who personally sought you out even to the well of Sychar in the scorching midday sun to embrace you with unconditional love, saying "Yes," has already come silently to your side. He grants your heart a bold wildness descending from above so that your soul may not be contaminated by immediate emptiness and the heartless judgment of others, and He perfectly escorts His saints day and night with an invisible, holy security frame. When you cast aside the calculators of impatience that tried to quench your thirst with your own strength and zeal like excrement, and entrust yourself to the sovereign Governance of the Lord who bursts forth rivers of living water that will never leave you thirsty, He renders all the fears before your eyes into nothingness. O precious person, the King’s ambassador and holy bride called to be a worshipper of heaven, having overcome the world’s condemnation through the precious blood of the only begotten Son, now lay down the heavy calculator that sought to prove your qualifications and abilities. Holding the hand of the resurrected Lord, who broke the power of death and became true victory, walk the path of your mission affectionately and confidently, following the wind of the Holy Spirit. I provide an exposition of the narrative (God of lowly). The schema of the world and the Jews shouted "No," thoroughly rejecting her because she was a Samaritan, because she was a woman, and because she had an immoral past. However, the Lord broke through those humanistic limitations, personally passed through Samaria, and supplied eternal living water to a woman whose life's calculator had been completely shattered under the scorching sun of 6 o'clock (noon). It emphasizes that a believer's pride is not found in proving one's credentials, but is activated only when fully entrusted to the sovereignty of the Lord, who accepted the self rejected by the world with a "Yes." Theological Insight The text theologically contrasts the noise of discrimination constructed by humans with the sovereign inclusion of the Kingdom of God. The Lord follows the divine redemptive-historical necessity (dei, δεῖ) stated in "You must pass through Samaria" (Edei auton dierkesdai dia tes samareias, ἔdei αὐτὸν diέρχεσθαι διὰ τῆς Σαμαρείας). When He asks the Samaritan woman for water at the well, the woman confronts the barriers of the world, asking, "How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for water?"
