The player assumes the role of Pok, a young Klingon about to undergo the Rite of Ascension. The celebration is interrupted, however, when Pok's father is killed during an assassination attempt on Gowron's life. Gowron and Pok then swear a blood oath to find the killers and bring them to honorable justice" Much like the previous Star Trek: Borg FMV game, I have deliberately made the wrong choices before the correct choice in order to show all the different fail videos. If there are more than 2 at a decision point I will usually cut out the lengthy lead up video to make it all a bit more bearable. The game is quite short compared to the previous game. Unfortunately, their are no subtitles so I cant help with translating what Gowron is saying in the intro. The game also allows pausing the video in order to click on random objects and learn about it. I don't do this to often as it doesn't really mean much in regards to telling the games story. The game looks really grainy through the game software video player. The games video files do suffer from a lot of macroblocking anyway and are stored in 320x200 15fps but do playback in slightly better quality than the game portrays.
