Decisión Histórica del presidente Petro para afrontar la Crisis
President Petro's government presented the Economic Emergency decree establishing a wealth tax for corporations. The measure sets a general rate of 0.5% for companies with net worth exceeding 200,000 UVT (approximately 10.474 billion pesos) and a differential rate of 1.6% for the financial and mining-energy sectors. It is projected that 56% of the revenue would come from these two sectors.
