A3 NEWS Venice 16/07/2026 - VENICE - The Court of Auditors of Venice has approved the 2025 financial statements of the Veneto Region, confirming the soundness of the public accounts. In its ruling, however, it drew attention to several strategic issues. Thus, the President of the Regional Audit Section for Veneto, Francesco Uccello, announced from Palazzo dei Camerlenghi how the Court of Auditors has approved the Region's 2025 general financial statements, certifying the regularity of the accounts and the sustainability of financial management. Among the most significant aspects is the liquidity situation: with a cash surplus of approximately 1.6 billion euros, an increase of 129 million compared to 2024. While the ruling confirmed the solidity of the regional administration, it drew attention to several sensitive issues.
