Building Versatile Nuc Boxes for Better Beekeeping
In today’s video, we’re diving into an exciting DIY beekeeping project! I’ll show you how to turn a big sheet of plywood into sturdy, removable bottom board nuc boxes — perfect for splits, swarms, and building up resources. I’ve been using nuc boxes throughout my beekeeping journey, but now I’m tweaking the design to make them more versatile. By adding removable bottom boards and making them stackable, I’m aiming to create a “support staff” system to boost honey production, manage swarms, and enhance colony growth. 🔨 What’s Covered: Cutting plywood sheets with a circular saw and table saw for precise measurements. Using a router to create frame rests. Assembling the boxes using a simple jig for perfect alignment. Attaching bottom boards with easy-to-use clamps for flexibility. Preparing for the upcoming honey flow season! 🎥 Tools & Materials Used: Table Saw - https://amzn.to/4cCqvaE Grr-ripper Saw Push Block - https://amzn.to/4qNrbNZ Router - https://amzn.to/4qKiJPk Router Table - https://amzn.to/3MSiELF Clamps - https://amzn.to/4qPxj8d Safety Glasses - https://amzn.to/4s3z4jt Roller Stands - https://amzn.to/4rlayu0 Shop Vac - https://amzn.to/3ZM5y5x Dust Collector - https://amzn.to/4rRLL0o Nail Gun - https://amzn.to/4qMgv23 Glubot - https://amzn.to/46R6Ik7https://amzn.t...
