The Euclid Versus Projective Geometry Rap

In 2018, Waldorf math missionary, and author of the Making Math Meaningful™ curriculum , Jamie York, led a Projective Geometry course at the Center for Anthroposophy in Wilton, New Hampshire. His creatively minded course participants took things to a new level when asked to create a skit to present to the community at the end of the course. Two of the participants, Sam Wasko and Gareth Dicker, composed a rap song that plays off the contrast of traditional Euclidean geometry and the less conventional way of viewing the world through the lens of projective geometry. Here is what Gareth wrote: "After an intensive week of projecting our minds into etheric infinities at Jamie York's renewal course on Projective Geometry, Sam Wasko and Gareth Dicker decided to distill their experience artistically in the form of a Rap Battle: Euclid versus the Projective Geometry Student. Scripted within 24 hours and rehearsed as a class for 24 minutes, the Rap Battle was performed for all Renewal Week students."
