Conteúdo retirado do site ===================== Welcome to my music archive. For those who don't know, MODs were computer music files popular on the Commodore Amiga and PCs back in DOS days. They were available before MP3s were invented and allowed muscians to produce songs without using a lot of disk space. In the mechanics of the way they work, they are essientially midi files with samples attached. Below is my collection of songs which I made using FastTracker2 back in 1997 & '98. True, they aren't anything special. In fact some are downright awful. However I've decided to keep them archived on this site for anyone who's interested. 00:00 D-Gen Arch My first ever attempt at "music". Random electonic melodies strung together by a drum loop from The Prodigy. 02:30 Tune 2 Total mish-mash of stuff... I was mostly experimenting at this stage and it didn't come out too well. 05:15 Trancecore Remix of Olive's "You're Not Alone". Came out quite well, it's a nice slowed down version of the song. 09:31 Speedcore Inspired by 2 Unlimited and a song from Mortal Kombat (the film). 11:45 Make The World A Happier Place My attempt at happy "cheese on a stick" hardcore. 14:20 X-Cite Nice sounding synth and breakbeat tune. 18:26 Common The chords from theme to TV program "Common as Muck" remixed into a gabber mess! 22:42 Go Wit Da Flow Remix of Loop Da Loop's "Go With the Flow". 27:00 Anti-Climax Energetic drum & bass track with vocals provided by BBC Radio 4 ;) 30:04 Skies Don't know how to describe this one exactly, it's got melodic synthy melodies and had a breakbeat thrown for good measure. 33:02 Mind Of The Machine Remix of the song of the same name by N-Trance. I really liked the original and wanted to remix it, sadly I ended up killing the tempo and not having a brilliant result. And there I stopped. I guess college and then work got in the way of me doing further music... but then what I had been doing wasn't of a brilliant quality and I felt I wasn't improving. However, I may do some more stuff in the future...I n the meantime, visit these links to artists who are far better than I am. I just wanted to get the stuff online first. I hate those style over content sites anyway so this is the opposite :) Email - mikewattsuk @ gmail.com Updated - 27/05/2005
