TARIAN GONG TRADISIONAL TIMOR || TRADITIONAL DANCE OF TIMOR CULTURE ||| BSO'AT/BSO'OT

Culture is one of the nation's assets that must be preserved. And we should be proud because our 🇮🇩Indonesia is famous for its various types of different cultures, which are not necessarily owned by outsiders. Even though there are so many different cultures in Indonesia, this is not a problem because it is precisely this diversity that makes the difference between Indonesia and other foreign countries. With the motto "BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA" which means: (Different but we are still ONE namely 🇮🇩INDONESIA. Until now, foreign culture that continues to enter Indonesia unstoppably can erode or fade local culture in Indonesia, so efforts must be made to overcome these problems so that culture in every region in Indonesia is maintained. In various ways that can be done in preserving culture, the most important thing that must be owned is to raise awareness and a sense of belonging to that culture, so that a sense of belonging and loving culture will make people/nations outside learn about it so that culture will continue to exist because cultural heirs will continue to exist. which we review below is one of the Indigenous Traditional Dances of Timor, namely: #TARIAN_GONG, is one of the traditional dances originating from the island of Timor which is still sustainable today. This dance is usually performed at any traditional events such as the process of making traditional houses (Ume Le'u), as well as other traditional events, picking up guests/officials from City/outside town who wish to visit. And if this dance is performed to pick up guests, it will usually begin with a traditional speech program or "TAKANAB" as the first step in honorably welcoming the guest. After that, followed by the gong dance (Bso'ot) with the number of tools provided: 5 pieces of gongs and 1 drum. *Carriage 1 seat for Left and Right legs. Role: 3 people as gong beaters 4/5 people for drum beaters and 1-5 people or more gong dancers (Bso'ot). There are various ways that can be done to preserve culture, including: 1. Growing awareness about the importance of culture as a national identity 2. Participate in preserving culture by participating in its implementation 3. Study it 4. Socialize it to other people so they are interested in taking part in protecting or preserving it. ............................ ..............................
