I cut up my Peterbilt cabover to fix a major problem..

Well… the Peterbilt cabover is finally back home from the shop. Which, of course, means I immediately decided to start cutting pieces off of it. The truck came with one of those giant custom drop visors that probably looked cool to somebody at some point… but it just wasn’t my style. Unfortunately when yow own a truck like this, you don’t exactly hop online and have a replacement delivered by tomorrow. So instead of buying a new visor, I grabbed the cutoff wheel, welder, and a questionable amount of confidence, cut the original one apart, and rebuilt it into something that actually fits the look I wanted. What could possibly go wrong? Along the way we’ll see if my fabrication skills are better than my decision-making skills, figure out whether I just ruined an impossible-to-replace part, and hopefully end up with a cabover that looks a whole lot cleaner than when we started.
