The Doors Finally Latch Nicely (Kinda) - 1933 Ford 3 Window Coupe

One of the biggest issues with the 1933 Ford 3 Window Coupe is that the doors do not remotely come close to latching. Since Matt purchased the car last year the doors have been held closed with a ratchet strap. When the car was originally chopped it appears the doors were done last, and not matched to the roof profile. This means the doors hit the body in a few spots, and the body lines do not match. Another issue is the door hinges are bent in the wrong direction. This could have happened from the suicide door getting caught in the wind and whipping against the rear tire. After a bunch of tweaking and sanding, both doors close and the body lines closely match. This means the body does not need to be cut apart and we can start building body mounts and floors!!
