Led by their dedicated Chief and a team of three full-time staff members, along with 18 part-time staff, and nearly 40 volunteers, Phoenixville Fire Department is committed to providing top-notch emergency services. What sets them apart is their unique partnership with TowerDirect from Reading, PA, which has also allowed them to offer exceptional EMS services. Seamless integration between fire and EMS services is a top priority for the Chief and his team. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that both departments work harmoniously to provide the best possible care to the community. This collaborative effort is truly commendable, as it brings together volunteers, fire personnel, and EMS professionals, all united for the betterment of the community. As we step inside the impressive 28,000-square-foot facility, you can immediately sense the thoughtful design that caters to the needs of the dedicated staff and volunteers. The station boasts six pull-through bays, capable of housing multiple units. From versatile utility vehicles that respond as QRS and even pull boats, to two engines, a rescue unit, a TDA trainer (on loan), a mass casualty bus, two ambulances, and a specialty care unit – Phoenixville Fire Department is equipped with an impressive fleet to handle any emergency situation that may arise. Not forgetting the importance of mobility, the station even features a purpose-built golf cart for events, allowing the team to navigate efficiently in crowded spaces. It's incredible to witness the dedication and ingenuity that went into designing a modern facility that caters to the diverse needs of the fire and EMS services.
