A few years ago, I became the proud owner of a 1987 Honda Transalp 600 motorcycle. After riding it for a couple of years, I decided to freshen up the exterior. I removed the old bodywork, cleaned off the paint, and realized there was no point in restoring it; over time, the plastic had simply become like glass, making it impossible to use. The bike sat without bodywork for about two years while I periodically looked for options to buy more or less usable plastic. Ultimately, I never found any options; usually, the condition was worse than mine, or the price was simply unreasonable. Finally, in desperation, I was browsing through our favorite website and came across the channel "In Search of Motorcycle Adventures" by seasoned Transalp rider Vitaly Khalivo. He had made a fiberglass body kit for his Transalp himself. I was very intrigued and decided to give it a try.
