Martı's new solution to make urban transportation in Istanbul more environmentally friendly and economical: Let's Go with One Vehicle (TAG). TAG offers Martı users a sustainable transportation alternative and an innovative solution to traffic problems in the city. This platform brings together drivers with empty seats and passengers who want to go in the same direction, thus sharing travel costs and reducing vehicle density. The TAG system integrated into the Martı application aims to reduce the number of vehicles in traffic while allowing Martı users to share their travel expenses. To benefit from TAG, users must have made at least 10 Seagull trips. Martı does not charge any fees or commissions from the TAG service; The costs of ride sharing are shared between the driver and the passengers. According to TUIK data, the number of vehicles increasing traffic density in Istanbul reached 4 million 688 thousand. While TAG helps reduce this density, it also aims to contribute to the prevention of environmental pollution. Experts state that reducing the number of vehicles by one third will greatly alleviate traffic and parking problems. TAG, developed by Martı, stands out as an important step that will make transportation in Istanbul more sustainable and efficient.
