HP Compaq CQ56 Powers on with backlight but black screen - Repair and Restoration

This is a HP Compaq CQ56 powers on - backlight but no screen. This laptop sent me through an absolute rabbit hole in trying to figure out what's the true culprit. And no it's not the screen!
