Virginia gun sales surge as assault weapons ban is put on hold

Virginia gun stores are seeing a surge in firearm sales after a judge temporarily blocked enforcement of the state's new assault weapons ban. The law, which was set to take effect July 1, would prohibit the sale, manufacture, purchase, import and transfer of certain semiautomatic firearms and large-capacity magazines.
