Bad Policing | A Trip Down Memory Lane

It's strange that if members of the public were to behave in such away, they would be arrested or at least have their details taken for further Investigation. I recently watched an auditor who was detained for what the Police Constable described as a 'low level assault' and they detained the auditor wanting further details so they could investigate the incident. Did you know that for the Police to be investigated for any misconduct, a complaint has to be raised and sent to the complaint resolution unit (CRU) which is an internal unit. They will then decide how to progress the incident. Low level assaults are rarely ever upheld by the CRU as they are also on the side of Police misconduct and if they decide further action to be taken.. It is usually reflective.
