Arabian Days: a History of the Keffiyeh

A headscarf famously worn by men in Arab countries, the Keffiyeh, sometimes known also as a ghutra or shemagh, is a typical and highly recognizable part of Arab dress, particularly in countries like Jordan, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, a black and white checked version has become a powerful symbol for Palestine and solidarity for them.
