TV.Westerns, comedies, old mysteries.Nature shows, aliens, history too,Anything but the six o'clock news.Give me cowboys ridin' across the plains,Or somebody fixin' up an old train.I ain't ashamed, it's plain to see—Yeah, I like to watch TV. I binge old sitcoms half the night,Laugh at reruns I've seen twenty times.Crime dramas, fishing shows, black-and-white films,Documentaries about windmills. My neighbor heard me say it one day,Called his wife and backed away. I like to watch... TV.Ballgames, cooking shows, Discovery.Sharks and rockets and history too,Anything but the six o'clock news.Every channel's got a better view,Than folks yellin' what I'm supposed to do.I ain't ashamed, it's plain to see—Yeah, I like to watch TV. Now the newsman says the world's on fire,Every politician's a certified liar.Market's crashin', aliens landin',Everybody's mad and nobody's happy. I'd rather watch a guy rebuild a boat,Than hear another expert clear his throat. I like to watch... TV.Movies, music, old comedy.Space documentaries, wildlife too,Anything but the evening news.If civilization's finally through,Somebody text me when they're done with you.Until then, you'll know where I'll be...
