In this lesson I show you how to play the main parts of the song House Of Pain by the band Van Halen. I excluded the solo for this lesson since I am still working on it and eventually plan on a lesson on it in the future. This video demonstrates the main intro riff, focusing on the unusual timing. I also show you how two play the main verse lick and chorus along with some of the cool fills that Eddie does. 1984 was undoubtedly a masterpiece and this song is a hidden gem on the album and the last track on 1984, however it features some of Eddie's most ferocious and creative guitar parts I believe he ever recorded.
