Peace in the midst of a nightmare | A true story

One of the most stressful nights of my life became one of the greatest testimonies of God's peace. My four-year-old daughter was struggling to breathe. We arrived at the after-hours doctor five minutes too late. My phone battery was dead. My car broke down... twice. The man I loved was drunk, like so many nights before. At one point, I sat in a broken-down car in the freezing rain with my two young children asleep on my lap, wondering how I would make it through the night. And then something happened. God gave me His peace. Not after the crisis ended. Not after the problems were solved. Right there in the middle of the storm. This song is based on a true story from my life and is dedicated to anyone facing a night that feels overwhelming. If you're walking through a difficult season, I pray this song reminds you that God is with you, even when everything around you seems to be falling apart.
