Oh, I know a pasture | Children's Songs with Animation

Welcome to Pudding TV! My goal is to provide both funny and educational videos so that children can learn while having fun. The target audience is mainly toddlers and preschoolers, but I hope some of the videos can entertain older children and adults as well. Many of the songs and fairy tales in this channel are Norwegian, translated into English by me, and you will not find them anywhere else. With twenty years as a kindergarten teacher, I know how important music is for children's development. Music contributes to intellectual, social-emotional, linguistic, overall literacy and motor skills. Children in early development learn the sounds and meaning of words through music. Dancing to music helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. Music also helps strengthen the memory. I upload new videos every week, so be sure to subscribe! http://www.youtube.com/c/PuddingTVen?... Listen on Spotify ► https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7vb... This is originally a 19th century Norwegian children's song (Å, jeg vet en seter) by Margrethe Munthe, a Norwegian teacher, children's writer, songwriter and playwright. The English translation is by Dag Hellem, arrangement, vocals and animation by Ulf Langsrud. Oh, I know a pasture - Lyrics: Oh, I know a pasture; there's a lot of goats there Some of them with bells when grazing in the hills Running up and down to a safe, familiar sound Singe-linge-linge-linge lang-lang-lang Horns on top, and hair like a rag mop Sorrel and somber and silver and grey Forehead strong, their beards are long Canny and jolly and limber are they All the kids have fled; they rushed out of the shed With Billy Buck in front, in a green grass hunt Running 'round and play, bleating kids all say: Ma-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a a-aaa Wild winds howling, o'er hills they're blowing Snow glimmers bright at the peak of the brow Down the slope, where trampled by goats The ever most wonderful flowers grow Hey yo, how their bones fly over sticks and stones over moss and branches, dairy farms and ranches Little stream is singing, to the hillside clinging Klunke-lunke-lunke-lunke lunk-lunk-lunk Worn and weighty, happy and carefree Well-nigh back home when the day has gone by While the herd rest, sun sinking in west Hiding behind shapes of mountain high Annie moves her jacket, milking in a bucket They have to be still, so Annie doesn't spill And when she is done, they lick the salty stones Sikke-sikke-sikke-sikke sikk-sikk-sikk All are skipping, plucking and nipping bouncing and jumping and poking their horns nodding, sneezing, stopping and freezing Then back in the shed where it's nice and warm ℗ 2015-2023 Odd Eagle Productions © 2023 Odd Eagle Productions #NurseryRhymes #PuddingTV
