1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Final Push Day 9 &10 cannonballing the Vw Bug 900 miles

Here is the last two days of an epic cross country road trip in our 1969 VW Beetle. Taking the bug, we now call 'The Bandit' because we were eastbound and down, doing what many said we couldn't, or shouldn't do, all the way from Washington state in the Pacific Northwest down to the deep Southeast. The last few days we spent in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia before finally arriving back home in South Carolina. The beetle did great on these last 400plus mile days and we got really comfortable cruising at 60-65mph.
