Off Grid In My 4x4 Campervan

Join me as I head off on another solo van life adventure in my self-build MAN TGE 4x4 campervan, travelling deep into the stunning Scottish countryside to explore the legendary Raiders Road. Hidden away in the Galloway Forest, Raiders Road is one of Scotland’s most scenic forest drives, winding through ancient woodland, lochs, and rugged landscapes. The road follows old historic routes once used by cattle raiders and travellers centuries ago, giving this remote track its unique name and character. Every turn reveals incredible views, peaceful wild surroundings, and the true beauty of off-grid Scotland. On this trip I find the perfect wild camping spot with breathtaking views, settle in for a cosy off-grid campout, light the campfire, and cook up some amazing food surrounded by nature. To finish the adventure, I make my way to the incredible Crawick Multiverse, a fascinating land art project designed by Charles Jencks, inspired by the cosmos, space, and the universe itself. Massive sculptures, winding paths, and otherworldly landscapes make this place unlike anywhere else in Scotland. If you enjoy campervan travel, off-grid camping, campfire cooking, scenic road trips, and exploring hidden places, this one’s for you.
