The penultimate chapter and closing of the penitential season, the Brotherhood of Sorrows will bring to the streets a procession steeped in history, identity, and deep roots in the town. A brotherhood that retains its distinctive character and will once again leave its unmistakable mark on the streets. The procession accompanies the Christ of Mercy and the Virgin of Sorrows, patron saint and mayor of La Rinconada, who is carried under her canopy on an afternoon marked by sobriety and elegance. This day is a time for reflection, but also for restrained emotion. A day when light begins to break through the darkness, heralding the message of the Resurrection. In this transition, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows once again offers a penitential procession that connects tradition, faith, and the spirit of the community.
