How to Make Vietnamese Crispy Pancake (Bánh Xèo)

Hi everyone, welcome back to my kitchen! Today, I will show you how to make one of Vietnam’s most famous streetfood- Bánh Xèo also known as Vietnamese crispy pancake. It is golden, crunchy on the outside and filled with shrimp, pork and fresh bean sprouts. Preparation: 1. Prepare the batter: It consist of rice flour, tumeric powder, water, pinch of salt and spring onion. Somebody also add abit of coconut milk for the richer flavour. 2. Prepare sauce: Vietnamese famous dipping sauce: Hot chili fish sauce- Fish sauce, sugar, garlic, lime juice, chili. 3. Prepare vegetable: lettuce, herbs and mints basically. These will be served with crunchy pancake to create the fresh and balanced taste. 4. Cooking: Heating the pan, pour the oil and swirl the oil to coat the pan’surface. Then, take a ladle or ladle and a half to pour in the pan. Make sure it spreads even on the pan. Leave it cook for a while before adding the feelings. It is gonna be folding into half so we just add the fillings on half side of pancake. Finally, we fold the cake to create the halfmoon shape cake, welldone, we made it. 5.
