In this video I do a complete teardown, removing every bolt, screw, and old grease before giving it the full restoration treatment it deserves. The process involved serious rust removal with an angle grinder, which was no joke, and dealing with a stubborn stripped bolt on one of the jaws that put up a real fight. Once everything was cleaned up and sanded down, I finished it off with a fresh coat of blue paint — and the result looks absolutely incredible. What’s covered in this video: • Full disassembly of the vise • Deep rust removal and sanding with an angle grinder • Removing a stripped bolt from the jaw • Degreasing all components • Reassembly and blue repaint If you’ve got an old vise collecting rust in the garage, hopefully this gives you the motivation to bring it back to life. These old Polish vises are built like tanks — well worth restoring. Drop a comment below if you have any questions/suggestions about the process!
