Building a Life in the Texas Hill Country

I grew up in the Texas Hill Country, but after years of moving around, I found my way back. In 2021, I bought my first home - a very white, very builder-grade box. Since then, I’ve been slowly figuring out how to make it feel like mine. This is the start of documenting that process… beginning with the backyard. In this video, I build a pergola and start turning this space into somewhere I actually want to spend time. It’s definitely not perfect, but it’s a start.
