Diggit, GMTV, and Mashed clips (1998)

A few clips, all from the same tape but apparently different mornings in 1998, of Diggit with Fearne Cotton and Paul "Des" "19 Years" Ballard, GMTV with Mr Motivator, and what seems to be the first episode of the second series of Mashed (possibly 2nd May) with Jez Edwards and Jarvis the Brummie Monkey. Guests of honour comin' atcha are the girl group Cleopatra promoting their single Life Ain't Easy, while Marlon Dingle from Emmerdale (a.k.a. Mark Charnock) also drops in for a chat. It's difficult to trace the history of Mashed to any great extent, partly because it's so fondly remembered that it doesn't even seem to have a Wikipedia page. (Harsh, as it ticks all the right boxes and seems great.) I'm not actually certain it had two series, but Jez intimates that it's good to be back, so that's my best guess and I'm willing to be corrected. So what do we have? Well, it looks like the terrestrial premiere of Recess (again, could be wrong) on Diggit, and I like how they speak to Jez on the phone seconds before he's due to go live with Mashed. Obviously I've had to remove episodes of Pinky and the Brain, VR Troopers, and Power Rangers, but the last of these leads into a drawing competition which Cleopatra are game to take part in, before their Q&A segment in Have a Banana. Another competition is based around the home video release of Hercules (that clip may have been removed by the time you read this), with prizes including a trip to Disneyland Paris. Most frustratingly, we end on the guess-the-celebrity phone-in Mugshot... who is that? I'm sure I recognise those eyes. Someone please put me out of my misery in the comments.
