Would I have bought this car if I were still in regular employment - No! I would have leased something which would have made far more financial sense for me than dumping a big lump of cash into a depreciating asset. I'm fairly confident that in 3 years' time this car will have lost (and cost) more over that period of time than if I'd leased a brand new one but as a newly self-employed person it's difficult to get a new car lease. The car has 580 litres of boot space (expandable to 700 litres if you push the rear bench forwards) and have 3 proper rear seats (2 of which have ISOFIX connections).
